If there were an award for outstanding Hermès expert... it should absolutely be given to Caroline, the Birkin Fairy! She was my sales associate at HOP in Chicago for nearly 8 years and walked me through all three of my "big" Hermès purchases! There was a Trim Bag that I had been eying for years, and then, it ceased to exist! I found one online to purchase but was far too nervous to buy after reading so many horror stories. Enter: the Birkin Fairy! She explained the exact photographs I needed to get from the seller in order for her to verify authenticity. When the bag arrived she instructed me to send more photos to be sure they didn't "switch" it out! Sure enough - the bag was 100% authentic, and I have Caroline to thank for making it a stress-free purchase and putting my mind at ease!

Caroline was my SA for about 5 years and to say I loved her is an understatement. There was no stone she would leave unturned when I was looking for something and her patience was exceeded only by her knowledge of all things related to a scarf. I loved coming home with a new scarf, but I also loved the times we'd open the scarf drawers, try on one after another, and catch up with each other's lives.
