Midnight in Paris! Midnight blue it is.

As we approached the venue for Hermès‘s Fall/Winter 2015 show in Paris, we felt transported into a movie set.  Stables of the Horse Guards — a regal space full of tradition and a brilliant reflection of the brand — set the stage for the show.image92-600x800

Making our way through the arena, a wooden maze with hardwood floors, we found our seats, perfectly placed between the two generations of It-Girls: Inès de La Fressange, the first model to sign an exclusive modeling contract with Chanel (who later became Lagerfeld’s muse) was seated next to us, and the modern star, fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni was behind us.

In a brief exchange of opinions after the show, the editor on the other side of me agreed: it was twelve minutes of pure perfection.

Hermès’ new artistic designer Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski began her career at Maison Martin Margiela, moved on to worked with Phoebe Philo creating the minimalist look that Céline pioneered, and then The Row. Now, Vanhee-Cybulski combines her understated, ultra-chic aesthetic with the unmistakable tradition of the brand to create the most wearable collection. Everyone — the muse, the blogger and the stylist –found something to love.hermes-fall-2015-1-880x474-3 hermes-fall-2015-2-880x515-3

I have a client who has archives of the best of Hermès throughout the years, and the Fall/Winter 2015 collection will surely make a great addition to it. It offers an abundance of pieces that are worth investing in and that you’ll want to keep forever. As a stylist, I could sell anything from this collection, as it represents pure luxury in the form of casual shapes, with a feel that’s warm and dramatic at the same time.

Some of our favorite looks included a magical midnight blue trench, a belted curaçao blue mink T-shirt, the richest red dress you could imagine, and the most elegant shawl collar. – Jesse and LM
